Survive the disruption. Recover fast.
Business continuity and disaster recovery aligned to ISO 22301 — business impact analysis, strategy, plans and testing so your organisation can maintain critical operations and recover from disruption.
Business continuity and disaster recovery from Passeca, aligned to ISO 22301, helps your organisation maintain critical operations and recover from disruption — cyberattack, system failure or crisis. We run the business impact analysis, design the recovery strategy, document the plans, and test them so recovery is proven, not assumed.
What is business continuity and disaster recovery?
Business continuity (BCP) is the discipline of keeping critical business functions running during and after a disruption. Disaster recovery (DR) is the technical layer beneath it — restoring IT systems, applications and data. Together they answer: when something breaks, how do we keep operating, and how fast can we recover?
A ransomware attack is the most common modern disruption, but BCP/DR also covers hardware failure, datacentre outage, natural disaster and human error. The methodology — impact analysis, strategy, plans, testing — is the same.
Who needs BCP and DR?
- You must meet DORA or NIS2 resilience and recovery obligations.
- You are a ransomware target and need a tested recovery path, not hope.
- Your downtime is costly — revenue, safety or reputation suffer every hour.
- You have never tested your recovery and do not know if it would work.
What the service covers
From impact analysis to tested recovery
- 01
Business impact analysis
We identify your critical business processes, their dependencies, and the impact of disruption over time — establishing recovery-time and recovery-point objectives that drive every subsequent decision.
- 02
Strategy
We design the continuity and recovery strategy — what is recovered, in what order, from where, and by whom — aligned to your objectives, risk appetite and budget.
- 03
Plans
We document the business-continuity and disaster-recovery plans: roles, activation criteria, communication, and the technical recovery runbooks for each critical system.
- 04
Test & maintain
A plan untested is a plan unproven. We facilitate exercises — tabletop to full failover — and maintain the plans as the business and threat landscape change.
BCP/DR is the recover layer
When ransomware prevention fails — and backups alone are not enough — BCP/DR is what determines how fast you come back.
In Passeca's ransomware bundle, BCP/DR is the recover layer: the tested recovery runbooks, failover design and backup strategy that get you back to operations after an incident. It complements prevention (Halcyon), detection (Deception) and response (IR retainer) — because no single layer is sufficient on its own. See our ransomware protection service for the full lifecycle.
How long and how much?
A BIA and strategy can be completed in weeks for a focused scope; a full enterprise programme with regular testing is ongoing. Pricing reflects the number of critical processes and the exercise cadence.
Which compliance requirements this supports
- ISO 22301 — the business-continuity management standard, the framework Passeca builds to.
- DORA — ICT-related incident management, backup, recovery and resilience testing.
- NIS2 — business continuity and crisis management as a risk-management measure.
- ISO 27001 — information-security continuity and redundancy controls (A.5.29–A.5.30).
